UWCJ COVID-19 RECOVERY FUND

Recovery Fund

A family of four with two parents contracting COVID-19. A single mother who lost her job when the company she worked for as a housekeeper closed. The family with a special needs child. The father who is out of work, downsized due to the pandemic. These are but a few of the people who have found support and hope for the future through the UWCJ COVID-19 Recovery fund.

The United Way has provided support for the community in prior disasters, including 9/11 and Hurricane Sandy, both during the crisis and as part of longer term recovery efforts. We remain ready to assist the most vulnerable members of our community during the COVID-19 emergency and beyond.

The United Way of Central Jersey has established an COVID-19 Recovery Fund to assist individuals and families affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).  The fund will  provide assistance with crucial expenses including rent, utilities, prescription medication/medical supplies, child care and food.

We will be working with our trusted community partners to identify clients who are most in need of temporary assistance.  We are not currently accepting unsolicited requests, only referrals from non-profit organizations.

You can contribute to the Fund via credit card by clicking on the Donate button.  You can also send a check made payable to "United Way" to United Way of Central Jersey, 32 Ford Avenue, Milltown, NJ, 08850.

If you are a funder inerested in making a contribution via EFT/ACH, please contact our Finance Department.

Thank you for supporting our community in this time of crisis.
