SNAP Services Are Here
UWCJ is committed to combating food insecurity in our community. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides food assistance to individuals and families with low incomes. Eligibility is set by several factors, such as income and resources. If eligible, individuals will receive at least $95 a month for food shopping. SNAP benefits can be used to buy groceries in-store or online and at some farmer’s markets.
We’ve been named a “SNAP Navigator,” and we can provide information about SNAP, explain eligibility requirements and provide help with the application process. If you are approved, we can help you maintain your eligibility by aiding in the recertification process.
