Stuff the Bus

Every year, local schools and non-profits are invited to request backpacks and school supplies for their neediest students. Families with children in UWCJ programs also submit requests. Then, UWCJ asks local companies to donate the supplies and backpacks. In 2024, over 20 schools and non-profits requested school supplies. Groups of volunteers from local corporations assembled enough stuffed backpacks to send over 400 children back to school with everything they needed to start the school year.
