United Way's Women United hosted their annual Legislative Breakfast on June 6th at the Raritan Yacht Club on the beautiful Perth Amboy waterfront. The program included a Luminary Presentation by Moderator W. Steven Barnett, Ph.D., Board of Governors Professor of Education, Economics & Policy Senior Co-Director, founder National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER), Rutgers University. Panelists included a representative from Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr.'s office, New Jersey State Senators Joseph F. Vitale and Samuel D. Thompson, New Jersey State Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin and New Jersey State Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez.
