Financial Relief Still Available to September 11th Victims
The Middlesex County Human Services Advisory
Committee (HSAC), working in partnership with the United Way of
Central Jersey, has announced that State Social Services Emergency
Disaster Relief is available to residents victimized as a result of
the September 11th 2001 attacks.
As much as $5,000 in financial relief may be
available to individuals who suffered a loss of a loved one,
experienced loss of employment, diminished income or other financial
hardship attributable to the attacks and/or incurred additional
expenses related to the events of September 11th .
Eligibility may also be extended to those who suffered from physical
ailments and or mental / emotional disorders including professionals
who served as first and/or intermediate term responders.
